If you need an idea or holiday to help you focus your prevention and policy advocacy efforts, Use the calendar below to help you plan your prevention and policy advocacy efforts as well as to keep you informed about key conferences and events. There are times throughout the year dedicated to a variety of impaired driving prevention and traffic safety issues. In addition, popular holidays and events that may have higher rates of impaired driving are also noted. Remember, impaired driving can occur under the influence of alcohol and other drugs as well as due to lack of sleep and distracted driving (e.g., texting, talking on the phone, changing the radio, eating, reading).
